Peracantha truncata
Some details are well visible on this microphoto of a (deceased) Peracantha truncata: the
spines and hairs on the scale margins, the ribbed surface and the claws and bristles on the legs. The
tail is extend out of the scale (right). The dark object in the dorsal part probably is a winter egg
pouch, with fertilised eggs that will survive the winter and hatch in spring.
