Epistylis sp.
sessile peritirichs on Cyclops copepod
This Cyclops copepod is speckled with groups of sessile peritrichs, possibly the species
Epistylis digitalis, given the slender shape of the cells. The photo was taken with a macro
lens and flash, not with a microscope.
