Epistylis sp.
sessile peritirichs on Cyclops copepod

This Cyclops copepod is speckled with groups of sessile peritrichs, possibly the species Epistylis digitalis, given the slender shape of the cells. The photo was taken with a macro lens and flash, not with a microscope.
