Water-measurer, nymph
A pond runner nymph in one of the last stages finds some support on a few duckweed
leaves. With the upturned tail and the long legs it looks a bit like a foal. The long
antenna reach to the water surface. On the duck weed leaf most behind a Microvelia is vaguely
visible. This picture was taken at the same pond as that of the mating Water-measurers.
